It is astonishingly easy to create a little webserver that reports 7 data, as they stand when you access the webserver. The hardware costs about (£40). I say "easy". It isn't a project for a complete beginner... but compared to what it used to take to create a webserver it is fabulous.
The following page explains the hardware, after opening with a screenshot of what the webserver returns.
https://wywtk.com/ardsrv/ardsrv_23518_2t2h_door.htm
The software for the server, "ar202", is free. The sourcecode is yours for the downloading
I'll also repeat the link I posted earlier to ar202's predecessor. That page might well be helpful to anyone trying to use ar202, it is about a similar Arduserver I did earlier. Both are "late models", filled with lessons learnt in many earlier Arduservers.)
Once you have one of those, you fire up something like my program FWW072, and it checks what the webserver is serving from time to time, and draws a graph. (And saves the data in a machine readable file.) (Remember- I do not offer the program to the public. This page is to inspire you to write your own!)
The bit of the graph in the illustration shows for about the past 30 hours...
Two temperatures... the wavy red lines.
Two humidities... the bumpy blue lines.
The interrupts due to door being open... flat red line at bottom... it wasn't opened.
The state of the digital input when polled... flat green line.
The "health" of the device... the diagonal gray lines. (Like that, they say "device running smoothly"). (It is just a coincidence that they are bounded by the red and green lines.
The two flat lines in upper part show the 60 deg F (15.6C) and 80 deg F (26.7C) y coordinate; the two blue lines at the bottom show 40% and 60% relative humidity.
---
The latest data is at the right hand edge of the graph. The vertical magenta line marks midnight in the place where FWW072 was running. ("Far Watch Watcher"). The vertical gray line mark 6 am, noon, PM.

So now you know. Wasn't that FASCINATING???
Well... if you insist. Here's a bit of a FWW073 display arising from watching an Arduserver very like the one described in the page cited above. The Arduserver was running ar202... also similar to what the described Arduserver was running. (FWW073 is just a newer version of FWW072)
Please get in touch if you discover flaws in this page. Please mention the page's URL. (wywtk.com/fw/fww072_quick_example.htm).
If you found this of interest, please mention in forums, give it a Facebook "like", Google "Plus", or whatever. If you want more of this stuff, help!? There's not much point in me writing these things, if no one feels they are of any use.

Unlike the clever Google search engine, this one merely looks for the words you type, so....
* Spell them properly.
* Don't bother with "How do I get rich?" That will merely return pages with "how", "do", "I"....
Please also note that I have three other sites, and that this search will not include them. They have their own search buttons.
My SheepdogSoftware.co.uk site, where you'll find my main homepage. It has links for other areas, such as education, programming, investing.
My SkyWoof.com site. ("Sky" is a border collie friend of mine- but the site isn't about doggie things.)
http://www.arunet.co.uk/tkboyd/index2.htm : My site at Arunet... not available via httpS, I fear.
